The IRIS Model P905 and 950F Infrared
Temperature Measurement System was designed for continuous duty
non contact monitoring of high temperatures in a variety of
applications. The P905 and 950S system is specifically designed
for use in Sulfur Reactor Furnaces.
The heart of the system is the new IRIS two piece
Processor/Viewing Head Pyrometer.
The new infrared system is an electro optical instrument which
offers a large array of user adjustable features. One advantage
of the Iris two piece system is that it no longer requires a
climb up the side of a hot furnace to change the operating
parameters.
The Model 905 Processor can be easily installed in an accessible
area (within 50 feet (15m) of the Viewing Head) allowing the
operator access to a wide array of diagnostic information.
